Garrison Academy for Boys

Garrison Academy for Boys, lahore Cantt offers offers O/A Levels and matric programs. There are four grounds, 2 staff rooms and 103 classrooms and common rooms in the Academy. I am a student of CAM-1-B. Earlier, I was in Garrison High School Boys. It was a bit difficult but I am setteled here now. May Allah bless the school and help all of us who are here.

Should Parents Give freedom To Their Children?

Yes, parents should give freedom to their children but not too much, within limits of course. Parents should keep a check that there children's going to whom with they are going, and for what? what are they doing and how?

The excessive exposure to media, access to cell phones and busy lifestyle of parents are showing its effects and changing the ways we live and think. What you think?

A Walk On the Moon

Once I was watching Geo TV in my home.The news editor announced that after one week an American team will come and will choose 20 students overall the sub continent.I became so happy and started jumping here and there.I had never seen a moon in my life.I collected the form from the National Trip Centre and posted it to America.I waited so long and after one week the team came.I was the 12th student who was selected for the trip to moon for one day.After two hours we sat on the rocket with the staff members .I was very terrified when the rocket flew.It was a very nice journey.When we reached there i saw a very beautiful world on the moon.On the way I saw different i saw different houses,restaurants,schools and hospitals.It was a very neat and clean world.I saw aliens there,they were also enjoying there life full of happiness.The whole day i moved here and there and saw different things which i have never seen before.Next day we packed our things and sat on the same rocket ,after 8 hours we reached back to our destination.It was a very memorable trip to me.

Unity of God or Oneness Of God

Unity of God means that Allah is one and only. Negation of this fact is shirk. Believing in the unity of God is the part of faith as well as the pillars of Islam. It is the major teachings off all the massangers, the holy books and and of Hazarat Muhammad (PBUH) - the last prophet. The holy quran amply explains the concept of ''tauheed."

About Pakistan

The Islamic republic of Pakistan emerged on the map of the world as an independent sovereign state on 14th August 1947, as a result of the division of former British India. It lies between 23-35 to 37- 05 north latitude and 60-50 to 77- 50 east longitude touching the Hindukush Mountains in the north and extending from the Pamirs to the Arabian Sea. It is bounded by Iran in the west, Afghanistan in the north-west, India in the east and south east and Arabian Sea in the south.

There is a coPakistan covers 796,095 sq.km with a population of 132.35 million according to population census 1998. It is divided into four provinces: Sindh, Punjab, North West Frontier Province and Balochistan. It consists of such physical regions as a) the western offshoots of Himalayas which cover its northern and north western parts of which the highest peak K-2 rises to 8611 meters above sea level; b) the Balochistan plateau c) The Potohar Plateau and salt range and d) The Indus plain, the most fertile and densely populated area of the country getting its sustenance from the Indus River and its tributaries.common border with China alongside Gilgit and Baltistan in the north.

Urdu is the national language and is used as a medium of understanding throughout the country. Pakistan is culturally divided into four provinces. Punjabi is spoken in the Punjab, Sindhi in Sindh, Pashto in NWFP, and Balochi in Balochistan. The country comprises of a vast area that was the great center of ancient civilizations of the world. Ancient sites excavated in Taxila, Harappa, and Moenjodaro speak volumes for Pakistan rich cultural background dating back to 3,000 B.C.

Strategic Importance of the Location of Pakistan

The location of Pakistan is one of the most important in the world map.Some of the salient features of the location of Pakistan are as under:-

• Pakistan has excess to the warm waters.Arabian sea in the south of Pakistan and ports like Karachi and gwadar are some of the biggest gateways to Pakistan.
• Pakistan is situated in the neighbourhood of oil rich middle east countries.All these countries have strong religious as well as economic by lateral relations with Pakistan.
• Pakistan is having a common border with china.The chines economies is growing fast.Pakistan has close relationship with china. Alot of trade takes place through famous silk route that connects Pakistan and china by road.
• Central Asian states are also located close to Pakistan .This gives Pakistan a unique status

What is blogging?

Feeling good to indulge in blogging in my free time (presently, I don't seem to be having any free time though). By blogging I mean giving comments and opinions, not only here but elsewhere in the blogsphere too. They say this exercise improves vocabulary and language. Majority of people like to do blog, some take it as a job, some as a hobby, but I like to take it as a new experience.
